Hot Tub Base, Electrics and Installation Guide
Plan a hot tub base, access route and electrical supply before ordering. Use this checklist to prepare your garden and request an installation quotation.

Choose a suitable supporting base
A hot tub needs a stable, level supporting surface designed for the filled weight of the selected model. Confirm the manufacturer requirements and ask the installation team whether the proposed base is suitable before delivery.
Do not size the position around the cabinet alone. Leave room for the cover, entry, maintenance and any equipment access, and make sure water can be managed safely around the installation.
Check the route into the garden
Measure gates, paths, turns, steps and overhead obstructions from the delivery point to the final position. Share photographs and dimensions with the team so they can review access and identify any lifting or handling arrangements early.
The route should also allow the cover to be opened and the equipment to be serviced after installation. A model that fits the final footprint may still need a different delivery plan if access is restricted.
Plan the electrical supply
Electrical requirements vary by model and configuration. Use the product specification as a starting point, then have the final supply and protection confirmed by the installation team and a qualified electrician.
Keep the cable route, isolator position and access to service equipment in the plan. Ask which work is included in the quotation and which needs to be arranged separately before delivery.
Request a complete quotation
Send the preferred model, postcode, proposed dimensions, access measurements and photographs with your enquiry. Ask the quotation to identify the product, delivery, lifting, base preparation, electrical work and installation scope separately.
Before confirming the order, check the expected sequence, what needs to be ready on site and who will provide aftercare guidance. This makes it easier to compare quotations on the same basis.
